Hyderabad: TRS leadership today lambasted the TDP boss and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for failure to reply to the queries asked by caretaker minister T Harish Rao on irrigation projects.
Addressing a press conference at TRS Legislature Party office here, MLC and spokesman Karne Prabhakar slammed the Telangana TD leaders for not able to question the double standards of Naidu. The TD chief has been coming in the way of development, irrigation projects and hatching conspiracies. He expressed displeasure at the TD leaders R Prakash Reddy and M Venkateshwara Rao for making it clear that they will work as coverts of Chandrababu in Telangana. This is ridiculous that the TD leaders are getting tie up with the opposition against the Telangana development, he charged. Now the TD got an unholy alliance with its arch rival the Congress only to take on the TRS as they cannot fight the polls alone, he charged.
The TDP is adopting double standards with regard to irrigation projects and the leaders are still stuck to their slavery mindset, he said. The TDP dumped their self respect by forging an alliance with the congress just for a few seats. The Telugu Desam Party Telangana leaders play a dual role by stating that the upper states can make use of the waters from projects and it will not incur loss to the downstream states. If that is the case, the TDP is ready to accept that the previous protests by it at Babli and others are mere dramas, he asked. The Telangana TD leaders did not question Chandrababu for arguing in the tribunals against Telangana. The TD will lose the battle of the elections as the people are aware of their conspiracy, he said.(NSS)
