PIL against Chandrababu filed in HC

Hyderabad: Mundadugu Praja Party chief J Sravan Kumar has filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the High Court urging it to order an inquiry into the assets earned in the last four years by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his son and IT Minister Lokesh with CBI and Enforcement Directorate.

In his petition, Sravan mentioned that Chandrababu and his son have collected Rs 25,000 crore after handing over thousands of acres of land to the industries in the name of IT development, establishment of new firms and skill development firms for youth. He also mentioned that Chandrababu, Lokesh, Government chief whip Palle Raghunath Reddy, APNRT Society chairman Vemuri Ravi Kumar as counterparts in the petition.

He alleged that Lokesh appointed his relative Ravi Kumar as IT Ministry’s chief advisor and APNRT Society. He mentioned that Chandrababu and Lokesh were using Ravi Kumar for the benefits through Quid Pro Quo. The petitioner also mentioned the irregularities took place during the allotment of 57,836 acres of lands to various companies. He alleged that Chandrababu allotted Rs 500 crore worth 40 acre land to Innova Solutions, Franklin Templeton Companies at thrown away prices. (NSS)
