Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak at a rally in Hyderabad organized by the Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS). For more than three decades, MRPS, which represents the Madiga community, has advocated for the sub-categorization of reservations for Scheduled Caste communities.

During that rally, he promised that if the BJP wins the November 30 Assembly elections, a person from the Backward Classes (BC) group would be selected as Telangana’s chief minister.
