Political Shift in Mahbubnagar: Leaders Join Congress Party

After meeting with Pradesh Congress President Revanth Reddy and AICC Secretary Sampat Kumar, several leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and other parties in the Mahbubnagar assembly constituency have joined the Congress party. previous Mahbubnagar Municipal Chairperson Radha Amar, previous Marketing Committee Chairman Amrendra Raju, Councillor Rama Devi, and others were among those who joined. Revanth Reddy welcomed them heartily into the Congress party.

During the meeting, Revanth Reddy leveled serious allegations against Mahbubnagar State Minister Srinivas Goud, accusing him of involvement in land grabbing. According to Revanth Reddy, Srinivas Goud not only grabbed other government lands but also encroached on rich waqf holdings.

Despite these serious allegations, the Chief Minister has taken no action against the minister, which Revanth Reddy views as clear evidence of his involvement in land grabbing.Revanth Reddy also emphasized the current government’s neglect of the Mahbubnagar district, contrasting it with the developmental gains seen during the Congress era.

He chastised the KCR-led administration for failing to keep the pledges made to the people of Mahbubnagar following their electoral triumph. KCR served as an MP from Mahbubnagar during the Telangana movement, but the people’s ambitions and demands seemed to have been forgotten after the elections.

Revanth Reddy promised a brighter future for Mahbubnagar, stating that the Palamur Rangareddy project would be completed in the district under Congress leadership. He expressed optimism and predicted that the Congress party would win 14 assembly seats in the constituency. The shift in political allegiance of these officials may have ramifications for the region’s next elections, as well as the political landscape in Mahbubnagar.
