“Possess irrefutable evidence of India funding attacks”- Pakistan

In a press conference following the day of claimed deadly attacks resulting in losses to the country’s military force, Pakistan said that India sponsors “terrorism” which is targeted to break the economic ties between Pak and China.

The allegations came from the Foreign Minister and military spokesperson of the nation at a news briefing in its capital city, Islamabad.

Although India and Pakistan have over the years held each other guilty through a series of accusations pertaining to thousands of incidents, November 14th’s conference was quite rare as Pakistan went on record to claim that it has also gathered a truckload of proofs to support their accusations against their arch rival.

During Saturday’s meeting, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, the Foreign Minister of Pakistan, and Major General Babar Iftikhar, the military spokesman, alleged that Indian intelligence agents were functioning in the adjoining country, Afghanistan to plot attacks in Pakistan.

Mr. Qureshi said their South Asian enemy was permitting its land for being used as an entity of terrorism against Pakistan, while further saying that India is also working on plans to operate an attack from “neighboring countries”.

As they allegedly have the evidence to back up these allegations, Imran Khan’s nation said it will be sending across all the pieces of proof to the UN. After this, Pakistan said that it will be demanding the United Nations to censure India as “without international intervention, it is difficult to guarantee peace in nuclear South Asia.” This phrase comes as both countries have enough nuclear bombs to dismantle regions.

Mr. Qureshi also claimed that their prepared report is made with a collection of “irrefutable facts”, which will be presented to the UN and the international community.

Just a day before, Pakistan said that India had attacked its military in the densely militarized area of the Pak-India border in Kashmir. The shelling resulted in the killing of a Pak army soldier and 5 civilians, the nation said.

This border region with the Himalayan range in close proximity has been the epitome of dispute since the partition times.

In the conference, Mr. Qureshi, who heads the media and public relations office for his country’s army, showed a part of the dossier’s evidence they possess to the media to support his claims of India’s role in the attacks on Pakistan. This also included bank receipts that were the funding proofs along with photos of the intelligence agents of India present inside the Indian consulate situated in Afghanistan’s Jalalabad, backing it’s an earlier accusation of the agents operating from its neighboring country.

The Foreign Minister also played an audio clip which was allegedly supposed to be a verbal conversation between Allah Nazar, the chief of the banned group Baloch separatist fighters of Pakistan, and an Indian intelligence agent.

In the conference, he also mentioned that Indian intelligence was aiming to devastate the Chinese projects present as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

Also talking about the attack in the city Gwadar in 2016’s October, Me. Qureshi said the attackers who executed the fatal incident in the 7-star hotel remained telephonically connected with the Indian intelligence officers before the attack as well as while they were working on the assault.

This city is considered to be of major importance to the Pakistani-Chinese trade projects as China’s business houses operate the city’s prime port facilities.

The top military officer also held India responsible for funding banned groups like UN-designated “terrorist” organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, and Allah Nazar’s Baloch Liberation Army.

On the other hand, Gran Hewad, a spokesman of Afghanistan’s foreign ministry spoke about Imran Khan’s plans to come to their country in the next week.

He highlighted that Mr. Khan’s visit would be the first as the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Whether or not he will speak about these accusations regarding India’s involvement was not brought to light.

There was no immediate response from New Delhi to the allegations of Pakistan.
