Private Banks cut short the working hours

Srikakulam:  The administration of the Private Banks of Srikakulam Dist has reduced the working hours to contain Corona cases. The number of cases has increased in the Dist in recent times.

In view of the situation, the Banks have cut short its timings however the account holders are lining up in the banks from early morning. Besides withdrawing and depositing the money, the customers are facing untold hardships for other works like getting the pensions and depositing the important documents.

The Senior Citizens were forced to queue up before the banks which have put many hardships for them. The banks are working from 10.30 to 1 pm only.

The administration of these banks put the sanitizer bottles at the gate of the banks. Due to the serpentine queues, the social distancing is far behind here as most of the people are in a hurry and wanted to go inside without waiting for their turn.

Many customers are in distress and expressed their anger on the banks for this situation. Some of the customers maintained that they are waiting from 9 am in the queue.

Some customers complained that the cash crunch in the ATMs forced them to visit the banks to withdraw the money.
