Revanth Reddy Demands CP to Arrest Vehicle Owners in Minor’s Gang Rape Case

TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy today demanded that city police commissioner CV Anand also arrest the vehicle owners of Toyota Innova and Mercedes Benz cars, which were used in the commission of gang rape on a minor under Jubilee Hills police station limits.

Speaking to media persons at New Delhi, Revanth alleged that the CP was trying to hide the names of the owners of the vehicles, which were responsible for the heinous crime. He asked the CP as to why he was hiding the details of the owner of the government vehicle, which was used for the commission of the offense? He also asked the CP as to why they did not seize the Innova vehicle until June  4, 2022, although the crime took place on May 28 last month. He alleged that the police were trying to erase all the evidence in the case in order to protect the actual accused in the case.

Targeting Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his son K Tarakarama Rao, he alleged that the father and son duo had turned the city into a poisonous city instead of a global city. He said he had been fighting against the drugs menace in the State for a long time. He said the number of pubs had gone up in the city after KCR became the Chief Minister of the State. He asked KCR as to why he was silent on the issue of rapes of minor girls in Telangana.
