Ronald Rose Conducts Inspection of Five Lakes and Sanitation Works

Ronald Rose, Commissioner of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), carried out a comprehensive inspection of sanitation works and five lakes in Attapur and Rajendra Nagar (South Zone). During his visit to Pedda Thalla Kunta, located near the regional training institute of the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes, and Narcotics (NACIN), officials from the institute expressed their desire to adopt the Pedda Thalla Kunta for beautification and maintenance as part of the Swachh Bharat initiative.

The institute officials sought permission from Commissioner Ronald Rose for this initiative, and he requested them to submit a formal request letter. The GHMC committed to taking appropriate action once the letter was received. Furthermore, the Customs officials expressed interest in undertaking other developmental activities, including water aeration, silt cleaning, and the enhancement of greenery in the area.

In response to requests from local residents, Commissioner Rose directed GHMC officials to provide essential amenities such as lighting, fencing, CCTV cameras, and materials for an open gym. He engaged with residents regarding the doorstep garbage collection from their homes. Subsequently, he visited the vicinity near a laboratory and examined points susceptible to garbage accumulation.
