Hyderabad: Anjani Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, issued an order under Preventive Detention Act No.1 of 1986 against Ahmed Hussain alias Amer Hussain alias Amer on July 22.
Ahmed Hussain, 25, residing at Purani Haveli, Dabeerpura, a rowdy-sheet of Mirchowk Police Station committed offences, including attempt to murder, hurt and criminal intimidation in the limits of Hyderabad Police Commissionerate and has been creating fear among the general public and disturbing peace, tranquillity and social harmony in the society.
The accused surrendered before the VIII ACMM Court, at Hyderabad on June 14, 2019. The Magistrate remanded him to judicial custody. The PD order was executed on him on July 23 and was lodged in Central Prison, Chanchalguda. (NSS)
