Rs 432 Cr Released for Rural Development : Dayakar Rao

Telangana Government today released Rs 432 crore to local bodies towards development programs. The Panchayat Raj department has released the funds to this extent for the rural bodies to make use of the same for various development programs.

The funds include Rs 182. 49 crore for panchayats, Rs 124.11 crore for Mandal Parishats, and Rs 125.95 crore for Zilla Parishats respectively.

The Minister for Panchayat Raj E Dayakar Rao has extended thanks to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Dayakar said that the funds for basic facilities and infrastructure of the villages and towns. KCR’s idea is to develop the villages as ideal at the national level by spending huge funds to give them a facelift, he claimed.

The Chief Minister has been offering funds for palle pragathi, Pattana pragathi, greenery, and other programs of welfare. Pensions, KCR Kits give a big boost to the people, he claimed. The villages got tractors, trolleys, and tanks for basic amenities and maintaining cleanliness like never before, he said.
