Sewage treatment and drinking water issues are key in Hyderabad development as a world-class city according to Minister Srinivas Yadav.
As part of program to develop Hyderabad a global city we provide more facilities and infrastructure by addressing related problems Srinivas Yadav said.
Soon works of 31 new STPs to be started by the officials concerned, he said. The government allocated Rs 5000 Cr towards addressing these issues, he said.
Along with Hone Minister Mahamood Ali and HMWS&SB board MD Dana Kishore, the Minister held a meeting on the same. The Minister extended thanks to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for release of the funds towards for sewage and water for a city development plan.
The people of Hyderabad are lucky to have KT Rama Rao as the Municipal Minister he claimed.

With KTR initiate the Government gave Rs 5000 Cr towards sewage treatment plants and water issues. In addition to 25 STPs, 31 more STPs would be set up at various locations in the city, the Minister said.
He stated that the officials were instructed to speed up works. We plan to complete them in about two years. The city is expanding day by day and the focus is on mire facilities, he maintained.
He said that HMDA purview will be expanded soon to improve amenities and infrastructure.
We set up four Airtech machinery in ever Assembly segment and now use robotic technology to clean up sewage lines. Latest technology and machines to be used clean up nalas he added.
