RT-PCR Negative Report Mandatory for Passengers Traveling to All Destinations

South Central Railway (SCR) today said that the West Bengal (WB) government has made it mandatory that all passengers coming from outside the State and detraining in stations falling in the state of West Bengal must carry RTPCR Negative certificate conducted within 72 hours of the departure of the concerned station due to spike in Coronavirus cases.

Accordingly, as per the destination protocol advised by the Government of West Bengal for COVID-19, all the passengers traveling by trains to any station in West Bengal are hereby advised to carry RTPCR Negative certificate without fail, an SCR release here today.

All the passengers are also advised to visit the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) website before commencing their journey about the protocol to be followed at any of the destinations in that State.
