Telangana Agriculture Minister Niranjan Reddy today said that Telangana is spending huge funds of Rs 60,000 cr for agriculture for golden harvest.
He held a review meeting and instructed to conduct Rythu Bandhu week in the state. In eight phases the state spent almost Rs 50000 cr and helped the farmers he claimed.
No other state is able to provide such help to the farming community as in Telangana state. He attributed the 3 cr mt of paddy yield to the vision and support by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.
The minister said that the Centre and states are not able to provide similar help to the farmers, he said. The minister instructed the officials to create awareness on the scheme and conduct week long events through schools and rythu bandhu samithies in the state.

He also said that the state government offers Rs 5 lakh insurance to the kin of deceased farmers.
This is a history in the state to offer Rs 60000 cr help to the farmers and achieve significant production. The KCR government will continue the same for the welfare of the farmers.
