Hyderabad: Education Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy today inaugurated Anurag University at Venkatapur near Ghatkesar on the outskirts of the city here.
On the occasion, the minister has appealed to parents and students to get admissions to pursue higher education in such varsities. She advised the varsity to offer world-class education and standards besides paving way for jobs in MNCs. To offer world-class education in various streams the state government has offered to start five universities in Telangana the minister said.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has accorded permission to them and locals can get a better education here in these varsities in addition to existing ones, Sabitha Indra Reddy has said.
In his video message, the Chief Minister exuded confidence that Anurag University will offer global standards of education, training to compete with technologies and competition.
It will usher in a new era of offering job oriented courses to compete at the world level, KCR averred. Also the IT Minister, Rama Rao has extended greetings in a video message to the varsity.
He hoped it of offering the best education and surpass others in standards.
