Tribal Welfare Minister, Sathyavthi Rathod today appealed to the people to get corona injections and avoid hospitalization.
She appreciated the police personnel for their duties in maintaining the lockdown in a peaceful and successful manner.
The minister was inspecting the lockdown in Mahabubabad district with SP Koti Reddy. The police are helping the village committees to distribute the medicines to overcome the fever and mild ailments she said. The health teams found about 4000 people facing corona problems with mild symptoms.
Through the house, to house survey, these teams found them and giving medical kits to tide over the problem.

She said that the people should not fear getting tested and if found to have temperature can take medicines, she said. There is no need of fear or doubt to get medicines and injections. All the hospitals and health centers in the district are equipped with injections, oxygen and medicines Rathod said.
Sathyavathi Rathod said that the Mahabubabad segment and nearby areas should follow corona protocols. To avoid the spread of the virus and to cut the chain we need to wear masks, sanitize the hands, and maintain physical distance. Lockdown is imposed only to break the chain of coronavirus in the second wave of the pandemic.
The good news is that the cases and deaths of corona came down to some extent she said. These cases and corona fatalities will further come down as the government has been cautious and taking more measures to break the chain.
The lockdown decision by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is giving good results as there is a downfall of the cases and the deaths, the minister said. The health teams are doing a good job by conducting house to house survey and giving tablets among the people.

Follow the norms of health officials and doctors’ advice, people can overcome the problem. As per directions of the chief minister we are able to control the cases she said. Health staff in coordination with the police staff are offering good services, she added.
Sathyavathi Rathod stated that people can fight the virus by following protocols. You have to take medical kits offered by the health team and avoid future home isolation if gets temperature, Rathod said.
All the district hospitals and health centers have required oxygen, injections, and medicines to treat the people.
