Several women leaders from Maharashtra join BRS in presence of CM KCR

On Tuesday, several women leaders from Maharashtra’s political parties joined the BRS in the presence of Party President and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. These new members are the most recent additions to the BRS’s massive influx from neighboring Maharashtra.

The women leaders, who were welcomed into the party by Chandrashekhar Rao with the party scarf, said they were impressed by the Telangana government’s women welfare and development programs. They stated that the schemes had set a precedent for the country, and that the priority given to women in government schemes was a testament to the BRS chief’s vision.

The female leaders, who pledged to work for a better future for all women in India, expressed optimism that Chandrashekhar Rao would lead the BRS to victory in the upcoming elections and that he would work to ensure that all women in the country had equal opportunities.

On Tuesday, several sitting elected representatives of urban and rural local bodies, as well as party leaders from the BJP, Shiv Sena, BSP, Congress, and others, joined the BRS. MLA A Jeevan Reddy, Manik Kadam, and others were also in attendance.

Telangana model in Andhra Pradesh

Dr. Thota Chandrasekhar, president of the BRS Andhra Pradesh, expressed concern about the neglect of the Kapu community, which accounts for a sizable proportion of the population in both Telugu states. He was dissatisfied with political parties exploiting the Kapu, Telaga, Balija, and Ontari communities for their own selfish gain.

Speaking at an event on Tuesday at the BRS AP camp office in Hyderabad, Chandrasekhar urged Kapus not to be swayed by vote bank politics and to support candidates who genuinely work for their welfare. He stated that the TDP and YSRCP only reach out to the Kapu community during elections. He said that the BRS was the only way to achieve social, economic, and political progress for all communities.

He stated that the BRS would contest all Assembly constituencies in Andhra Pradesh in the upcoming elections and urged people to rally behind the BRS leadership in order to replicate the successful Telangana model in AP.
