politician YS Sharmila, who is the daughter of former Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh state YS Rajasekhara Reddy, would contest from palace assembly constituency from Khammam district.
She likened the constituency to the AP’s pulivendula assembly constituency represented by her till his death and said that palair would have the same place in her heart. She made these remarks while addressing a gathering of the loyalists of her father from the Khammam district. Meanwhile, the public meeting proposed by Sharma on April 9 of the next month in the Khammam district is likely to face problems due to the rapid spread of the Covid 19 virus.

Doubts are being raised on the issue over the police permission to hold the meeting. The loyalists of Sharmila have already got permission from the owners of the ground. However, they are yet to secure the police permission.
