Hyderabad: Sidhipet Government General Hospital is ideal to other hospitals to replicate as its doctors and staff had set a record of sorts by making 33 deliveries in a single day, Health Minister Dr C Lakshma Reddy today said. The minister appreciated the doctors and staff also DMHO for the record and asked other hospitals to follow suit. Ever since the introduction of KCR Kits the institutional deliveries saw a steep rise of more than 50 per cent in the government hospitals and efforts are appreciable. He also attributed the performance of Sidhipet Hospital to the persistent efforts of Minister T Harish Rao.
Latest facilities and workmanship by the staff is giving positive results in the government hospitals these days he claimed. The minister appreciated Dayanand, DMHO of Bhadradri Kothagudem for ensuring his family member give birth in Armur Government Hospital.
Dr Lakshma Reddy also appreciated Marikal Hospital for the best primary health center and Midjil Hospital (both Mahabubnagar district) for receiving four awards. (NSS)
