SIT Team Reaches Lakhimpur Kheri, Probe Begins

The new Special Investigation Team (SIT), set up by the Supreme Court to test the Lakhimpur Kheri violence in which four farmers were mowed down by an SUV on October 3, has begun working.

SIT Visits Crime Location 

IPS officials S.B. Shiradkar, Preetinder Singh, and Padmaja Chauhan, alongside resigned judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court Rakesh Kumar Jain, who was as of late selected by the Supreme Court to screen the Lakhimpur Kheri accident test, visited the crime location in the Tikunia town on Thursday evening.
