Meerut, Uttar Pradesh: A young boy in Meerut region attacked his father and slit his neck with a knife when the father asked him not to play PUBG, a Chinese gaming application which has been banned by the Centre, police stated on Monday.

The father was seriously injured in the episode and later, the accused, identified as Amir, moreover wounded himself with the knife. Both the father and song have been admitted to the Meerut Medical College.

As indicated by reports, the episode occurred on Thursday in Jamnagar in Kharkhoda town of the region however was not reported to the police right away.

The young boy attacked his dad, Irfan, after he asked him to avoid spending extended periods of time at gaming. Annoyed with his father’s criticism, Amir got a knife and slit his dad in the neck several times. Afterward, he additionally slit himself in the neck.
