According to the Special Summary Revision Final Roll 2023, Telangana has 2.99 crore voters, which is slightly less than the 3.03 crore voters registered under the SSR 2022.
The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Vikas Raj, released the SSR Final Roll 2023 on Thursday. The new rolls show that the total number of voters in the state is 2,99,92,941 after 6,84,408 new voters were added and 2,72,418 voters were removed.
Enrollment of young voters aged 18 to 19 years has increased to 2,78,650, up against 83,207 in the SSR-2022. Furthermore, a total of 20,246 forms were received from electors over the age of 17, which would be processed in due course.
The ECI announced the SSR-2023 Schedule, which began on August 1, 2022, and the draft electoral roll was published on November 9, 2022. From November 9 to December 8, the period for filing claims and objections, extensive Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) activities were carried out in collaboration with various government departments. As a result, over 12 lakh application forms were submitted.
Special campaigns were launched in 361 tribal habitations for tribals such as Kolams, Thotis, Chenchus, and Kondareddis, and application forms were collected from over 2800 tribals who were not previously enrolled.

Male voters totaled 1,50,48,250, female voters totaled 1,49,24,718 and third gender voters totaled around 1951. Furthermore, 2,740 NRI electors and 15,282 service electors are enrolled in this final roll, Vikas Raj said.
The CEO also stated that voter enrolment is a continuous process and that eligible citizens who were unable to apply during the SSR-2023 can now do so through the NVSP website, voter helpline APP, or by submitting their filled-out physical forms to the BLO’s. As part of the continuous updating procedure, all applications would be processed. Form 8 can also be used to change the address and other details, he added.
