Hyderabad: The Telangana Congress Unit has launched an online movement under the name ‘Speak of Telangana’. Speaking on the occasion, TPCC President and Member of Parliament Captain Uttam Kumar directed the party ranks to involve students, youth, the unemployed, teachers, intellectuals, businessmen in this movement. He advised them to bring awareness among the general masses several platforms of social media ie Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, Telegram. He urged the party ranks to stand by the ignorant petty traders, workers, peasants and the illiterate and suggested them to increase pressure on the government on the various demands of the public.
Corona treatment should be included in Arogyasree. The number of corona tests should be increased. Charges should be regulated in private hospitals. 50 per cent of the beds should be kept under government control. Ventilators and oxygen facilities in government hospitals should be further improved. Rs 10 lakh compensation should be paid to the families of those who died with Covid” Uttam demanded.
He urged the state government to give Rs 50 lakh exgratia to the medical, sanitation and police personnel who died while fighting against the corona.
