Talasani gives Rs 55,000 to film driver for treatment

Hyderabad: Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav today said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is helping the poor and needy in difficult times. He gave away Rs 55000 cheque to P Raju a driver working in Telugu film industry towards treatment for his illness. Actor Kadambari Kiran took initiative and arranged Rs 35000 through “Manam Saitham” program for Raju’s treatment. He also informed to the minister about the pathetic condition of ailing Raju whose medical expenses need Rs 3 lakhs. Then the minister made arrangement for Rs 55000 from CMRF on behalf of the government. At his residence Srinivas Yadav gave the amount to Raju in the presence of Kiran. Later the driver extended thanks to the minister and Kadambari Kiran for the amount. (NSS)
