Telangana Assembly approves new revenue bill

Hyderabad: The State Assembly today unanimously approved the  Telangana State Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbook 2020 bill.

The leader of the house and the chief minister of the state KCR laid the bill before the house two days back and urged the members to approve it after holding a detailed discussion on the same.

The members of the Telangana Assembly opposition Congress party, MIM, and BJP took part in the discussion and expressed their views on the bill. They also made several suggestions to the state government and urged it to include the same in the bill.

Later CM KCR gave his reply to the questions raised by the members of the house. He also gave lengthy explanations on various topics of the bill.

The house has also unanimously approved the Telangana abolition of the Village Revenue Officers posts bill 2020 also.  The speaker of the house Pocharam Srinivas Reddy has also announced that the house had approved other bills like the Telangana Municipal laws (amendment) bill 2020 and Telangana Panchayat Raj (amendment) bill 2020 before adjourning the house till Monday.
