An ex gratia of Rs 3 lakh has been announced by the Telangana State government for the families of the Secunderabad fire accident victims. The MA&UD Minister K T Rama Rao expressed grief in a statement about the fire accident and said the government will pay an ex gratia of Rs 3 lakh.
In the fire mishap at Ruby Hotel at Secunderabad on Monday night, eight people were killed and several others were critically injured. As a result of the incident, the Gopalapuram police registered a case and began an investigation. The deaths were primarily caused by suffocation, according to fire officials.
