Bars and pubs must have CCTV cameras

To curb the drug menace, all bars and pubs in the city have been asked to install CCTV cameras and to link them to the Excise department.

CCTVs should be installed in such a way as to cover the entire premises. It is essential that data is stored for 45 days at least.

The Minister for Excise V Srinivas Goud said that if anyone engaged in illegal activities, their license will be revoked and such establishments will be closed.

They would have to close their business and leave Hyderabad if they didn’t conduct their business legally.
