Telangana HC grills govt on online classes

Hyderabad: The Telangana High Court today grilled the state government on the issue of the organization of the online classes I the state.

It expressed its displeasure over the callous attitude of the state government in taking action against the schools which are holding the classes illegally.

It asked the state government to submit complete details containing the details of the steps initiated by the state government to stop the organization of the online classes before next Monday.

During the hearing of the case, the Advocate General of the state government BS Prasad told the HC that the state government had not given any permission to private schools to hold the online classes and added that the academic year would not begin till the July 31 of this month.

He also told the HC that they would take a policy decision on the issue in a week’s time and appraise it to the HC as well.
