Telangana IRS Officers forum Donates Rs.3,60,500 to CM Relief Fund

Hyderabad: Concerned with the Novel Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic and with a view to contributing towards the efforts being made by the Telangana state government in combating this crisis, a group of officers from Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) and Indian Revenue Service (Indirect Taxes and Customs) have come together to contribute towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund in their individual capacities.

They have contributed Rs.3,60,500/- (Rupees Three Lakhs Sixty Thousand Five Hundred Only) to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, in addition to PM Care donation. On behalf of Telangana IRS forum  Prasad Adelli, Addl. Director, DRI, Hyderabad Zonal Unit, Balram, Director Finance, SCCL, Mohan Babu, IRS today met K.Taraka Ramarao, Minister at Pragathi Bhawan and handed over the Challan.  Minister.KTR appreciated the IRS Officers for their contribution and conveyed regards to all of them.

“We hope this humble contribution would help further the commendable efforts being made by the Government of Telangana under the able leadership of  KCR in containing the spread of COVID-19, and in mitigating the social and economic impact of this pandemic”  Prasad Adelli, Addl. Director, DRI, Hyderabad Zonal Unit, Balram, Director Finance, SCCL, Mohan Babu, IRS said.
