Telangana’s municipal and information technology minister, K T Rama Rao, will visit Nalgonda and Suryapet district headquarters on October 2 to lay the groundwork for major development initiatives.
In Suryapet, he will lay the foundation stone for a Rs 100 crore IT corridor. He would then proceed to Nalgonda to lay the groundwork for a flyover at the Marriguda bypass. In Nalgonda, he will also unveil road expansion and beautification projects totaling Rs 118 crore.

KTR’s visit will also involve the opening of an integrated vegetable and non-vegetable market, the laying of foundation stones for the Kalabharti building and tank bund, and the start of work on a cable bridge, underground drainage, and a drinking water system.
In the evening, the minister would discuss different welfare initiatives implemented by the state government since 2014 at a Pragathi Nivedana Sabha event attended by Nalgonda MLA Kancharla Bhupal Reddy.
