Telangana: OTR made mandatory by TSPSC for notified jobs

One Time Registration (OTR) has been made mandatory by the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) for candidates who apply for various posts to be notified by the commission soon.

Candidates are required to register on the commission’s website www.tspsc.gov.in. Anyone who has already registered must update their personal information as per Presidential Order 2018.

A new OTR is being introduced by the commission in response to the 2018 Presidential Order, according to a statement. 10 districts, two zones, and one multi-zone were re-designated as 33 districts, seven zones, and two multi-zones earlier, as per the order.

According to the new Presidential Order 2018, local candidates will also be decided.

The release reads: It was noticed earlier that at the last minute, due to a large number of candidates applying for different posts at the same time, server errors were encountered due to heavy internet traffic. Several candidates could not apply in time. Hence, candidates should now visit the commission’s website and update the details of their basic study, class I to VII as per the existing 33 districts and any other columns of the OTR, if any.

Candidates were urged to register or update their details right away so they can avoid last-minute rushes.

Changes to nativity and education

Candidates can enter their locality, nativity, and qualifications online by entering online options. It is possible to update the details pertaining to candidates and the recruitment process on the Commission website.

According to the President’s new orders, the State government is conducting recruitment drives to fill zonal, multi-zone, district, and other cadre jobs. To ensure the smooth handling of details, the government made changes and the TSPSC made necessary changes to the website.
