Telangana: PM Modi to pay Ramagundam a visit on Nov 12

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be paying a visit to Ramagundam to dedicate the Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited on November 12.

The Ramagundam Fertilizers and Chemicals Limited (RFCL) in Telangana will be dedicated to the nation by PM Modi on November 12. In this matter, there has been no official confirmation from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) to the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

The Ramagundam Unit of RFCL in Telangana was declared commercially operational on March 22, 2021.

The Telangana Chief Minister’s Office has not received a notice regarding the PM’s visit. A formal invitation or notice regarding the anticipated visit has not yet been sent to the Chief Minister’s Office.

Telangana IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao told the media, “The Chief Minister’s Office did not receive any official communication from the Prime Minister’s Office concerning the latter’s visit or the opening of RFCL.”

RFCL, which started doing business in March 2021, is being visited by the Prime Minister, and Arun Singhal, the union secretary for the fertilizers department, is overseeing the preparations directly. It was reported that the Mahatma Gandhi stadium in the NTPC township has also been equipped with a helipad.

It is important to note that PM Modi is scheduled to visit Visakhapatnam on November 11. He will lay the foundations for various development and infrastructure projects in the city. Afterward, the Prime Minister may address a public meeting in the port city.

RFCL is a joint venture between National Fertilisers Limited (NFL), Engineers India Limited (EIL) and Fertiliser Corporation of India Limited (FCIL). A sum of Rs 6,120 crore was invested in RFCL by the Union government.

Media reports indicate that officials from the Central government and Ramagundam police have inspected the Fertilizers plant and have chosen the Mahatma Gandhi stadium for the helipad.
