Hyderabad: Azmeera Chandulal, Minister for Tourism, TS Govt to inaugurate 3 day Telangana Tourism Conclave 2018 here in the city at hotel Marriott on Thursday.
Dr. Bonthu Rammohan, Mayor of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and B. Venkatesham, Secretary, Tourism, Govt of Telangana will be guests of honour. It is organised by FTAPCCI in association with the Global Panorama Showcase Ltd, Nagpur and Government of Telangana
Skill development of tour operators is more important if we have to fully utilize the tourism potential of the state. That is why the Conclave will focus on educating and empowering tour operators of tier 2 and 3 cities in the state. The conclave is expecting 800 to 1000 tour operators to participate. They will be exposed to knowledge sessions lines up from morning till evening hot topics like GST, New Trends in the Industry, Heritage, Medical Tourism, Skill developments like wise the experts are being called.
Giving details in a press note issued in the city Gowra Srinivas, President of FTAPCCI and Hari Kishan Valmiki, Chairman, Organizing Committee, Tourism Conclave said the three day event consists of a Knowledge sharing Seminar on first day and the second and third day will be dedicated exclusive Business to Business interactions through a trade show wherein about 200 tour operators, agents and other stakeholders are expected to take part. The Conclave offers a unique networking opportunity to the tourism and travel industry of your State to establish business partnerships with the Telangana tourism industry players. It also gives special thrust on the outbound tourism from the State where you can access new markets and achieve business objectives.
Hyderabad is number 2 MICE destination, Tourism and also for Weddings, whereas the State is hardly producing any footfall towards Leisure and Pilgrimage. Telangana State has got immense potential to lure the inbound and domestic market. It’s high time to showcase our State and spread the awareness among all our Domestic and Inbound Tour operators from all over India. Hence this is the first of its kind taking place in Hyderabad in the name and style of Telangana Tourism Conclave 2018
