Telangana: Waitlisted Haj pilgrims to be accommodated on an additional flight

The Haj season is in full swing, with five flights carrying Haj pilgrims departing from Telangana today. An additional flight has been approved to accommodate the waitlisted pilgrims, giving them a chance to fulfill their religious obligations. This is in addition to the 46 previously scheduled flights.

According to reliable Haj Committee sources, the flight for waitlisted pilgrims is scheduled to depart at 9-10 p.m. on June 21, allowing a greater number of devotees to participate in the sacred journey.

The first group of pilgrims set out on their journey at 10:30 a.m. today. The pilgrims gathered at the Haj House as early as 6:30 a.m., eagerly anticipating the moment they would be able to begin their journey to the holy land.

The second flight took off at 10:45 a.m., with pilgrims gathering at the Haj House beginning at 6:45 a.m. The third flight will depart at 1:35 p.m., followed by the fourth flight at 4:30 p.m. At 9:10 p.m., the fifth and final flight of the day will take off, bringing the total number of flights for the day to five.

The Hajj Committee faces a significant challenge in managing such a large number of flights in a single day. Ensuring each pilgrim’s completion of essential tasks and facilitating their departure from the Hajj House necessitates meticulous planning and efficient execution.

The pilgrimage journey will continue tomorrow, with the final two convoys departing on June 22. The first batch is set to depart at 2:45 p.m., with the final group of pilgrims from the Telangana Haj Committee departing from Shamsabad International Airport at 9 p.m., bringing the Hajj preparations for this year to a close.

The Haj pilgrimage is extremely important to Muslims all over the world, and the Haj Committee’s efforts to accommodate a larger number of pilgrims reflect their commitment to ensuring that every eligible devotee has the opportunity to embark on this sacred journey.
