The 9th “Grand Nursery Mela” to begin from 28th January, at Necklace Road

As part of a campaign to bring people especially the plant lovers closer to nature, the Telangana Event Organizer (TEO) – a conglomerate of horticulture and agriculture-based companies, is organizing again the “Grand Nursery Mela”, 9th time in the row that begins from 28th January at People’s Plaza, Necklace Road in the city.

“After a successful eight similar events in the line since 2015 in Hyderabad, this is the 9th Grand Nursery Mela scheduled to begin from 28th January and will be concluded on 1st February next month wherein different gardening, agro and horticulture companies from all of the country will have their scintillating stalls with fruit, flower and furniture display to enthrall the plant lovers under one roof,” informed Khaled Ahmed, Director Telangana Event Organisation (TEO).

“We have been organizing such Nursery Melas all over India since 2015. Already we have organized a total of 8 such events at People’s Plaza Necklace Road so far. The whole day long show will go on moving from 9 am in the morning to 9.00 pm in the night were a total number of 120 stalls from Haryana, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, etc besides Andhra and Telangana.

All they together will display a variety of flower, fruit and bulb saplings, seeds, seedlings, organic fertilizers, coco peat, pots, grow bags, vertical gardening, hydrophobic, farmhouse and terrace gardening equipment,” he elaborated.

Apart from nursery extravaganzas like a flower, fruit, and fragrance, he added that “The Mela would also attract the attention of connoisseurs with a wide variety of medicinal plants like Cactus, succulent, arcades, ademium besides exhorting plants leaving no room for craving for any variety for connoisseurs.”

“Several pots and grow bag manufacturing companies across the country to are setting their stalls this time to display their wide variety of lightweight, durable and affordable extravaganzas notably for terrace gardens. This exhibition provides an extensive variety of flora and fauna and pretty succulent plants under one roof and would surely catch the eyes of visitors especially the plant lovers to the level of their satisfaction,” explained Khaled Ahmed.

Meanwhile, Finance Minister T.Harish Rao today released the brochure of the 9th Grand Nursery Mela in the presence of TEO representatives. Harish Rao even accepted in principle the invitation being extended by the representatives of the organization for lightening the lamp of the blissful event on 28th of January at People’s Plaza, Necklace Road that will go on almost 5 days before concluding on 1st February next month.
