According to him, government hospitals have adequate facilities to treat virus-infected persons.

Earlier state Health Minister C.Vijayabaskar warned of legal action against those who violate the self-quarantine and the list of travelers have been given to district administration and police for tracking.

Vijayabaskar said though tracked, some of the travelers violate the government’s strict order to self-quarantine and thus becoming a threat to community transmission of coronavirus.

He also said the Corona positives in Tamil Nadu clearly shows that people with travel history and travelers from abroad are victims.

He requested all those who had traveled abroad during the past one month must self-quarantine and report to the doctor if any coronavirus symptoms persist.
