Hyderabad: TPCC leaders on Saturday expressed their surprise over the decision of Telangana State Legislative Council Chairman K. Swamy Goud for merging the CLP in Council with the ruling TRS party. They wondered how could the Council chairman release the bulletin related to the merger of a national party with a regional party in the State.
Addressing mediapersons here today, TPCC Spokesperson Faheem alleged that Chief Minister KCR was trying very hard to remove the Opposition parties in the State legislature. Another Congress leader Manavatha Rai said they had doubts over the recent Assembly elections and wondered as to why the Centre was not recalling the Chief Electoral Officer when so many mistakes were committed in the recent elections.
