Traffic advisory issued in Old City on Friday in view of procession

On account of the procession on Friday commemorating the death anniversary of Hazrat Ali in the old city, the Hyderabad Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory.

As the procession leaves Charminar, it will make its way towards Masjid E Imamia near Kali Kabar through Charkaman – Gulzar House – Pather Gatti and Madina towards the Darushifa Grounds – S.J Rotary – Masjid E Imamia – Abid Ali Khan eye Hospital

Traffic will be diverted from 2 pm to 8 pm in the vicinity of Charminar and the MGBS exit gate at Kali Khabar.

Traffic from Etabar Chowk will not be allowed to reach Gulzar House when the procession is at Charminar and will be diverted at Irani Galli, i.e. Arman café, towards Hafiz Danka Mosque/ Kotla Alijha.

The traffic in Ghansi Bazaar and Mitti ke Sher will not be allowed towards Gulzar House when the procession is at Charminar. The traffic from Sher E Batil Kaman will be diverted towards Ghansi Bazaar and Mitti ke Sher.

Until the procession reaches APAT junction, Purani Haveli, traffic will not be allowed from by-lanes heading towards Chattabazar.

In order to prevent traffic from going to the APAT from the Purani Haveli road, the traffic will be diverted to Ganga Nagar Nala towards the Purani Haveli, Chattabazaar, Mandi Mir Alam Street, and Princess Dureshawar Hospital Lane.

The traffic from Chaderghat Rotary will not be allowed toward SJ Rotary when the procession hits the Darulshifa Ground and will be detoured towards Chaderghat junction until it reaches the Arch of Masjid E Imamia near Kali Khabar.

From the time the procession reaches SJ Rotary, traffic coming from Afzalgunj/CBS will no longer be permitted to reach SJ Bridge and will be diverted towards CBS/Afzalgunj.

APSRTC and TSRTC buses, private buses, and all other vehicles are subject to these restrictions.
