A sad occurrence occurred in the Bisugir Sharif Dargah in Jammikunta mandal in Karimnagar district. On Friday, two young men, A Srinath (19) and Polampalli Sai Kumar (24), drowned in a tank near the dargah.
According to local witnesses, both Srinath and Sai Kumar, who lived in Godavarikhani, went to Bisugir Sharif to take part in the Urus celebration conducted in the Dargah. They decided to bathe in the tank on the hillocks near the dargah. They perished in the tank since neither of them understood how to swim.
The incident has been investigated by authorities, and the bodies of the two individuals have been transported to a hospital. In connection with the occurrence, a case has been filed.
