Hyderabad: TRS leadership has intensified its membership drive ahead of the polls for municipalities and municipal corporations. The ministers, TRS MLAs and in- charges in districts are participating in the membership drive. On Tuesday minister Srinivas Goud took up the drive and invited several people as members of the ruling party in Mahabubnagar district.
He launched the drive in Srinivas Colony ward 5 and offered membership to the people. On the occasion he appealed to the people to support the ruling party for welfare and development of the state. TRS Mahabubnagar in-charge and state secretary A Babaiah, former MLA Ch Prathap Reddy and other local leaders were present.
Similarly in Medak district, MLA of the ruling TRS, Madan Reddy participated in the membership drive. Corporation chairman Bala Mallu, Murali Yadav and others present.
In Asifabad district MLC N Lakshman Rao offered membership to several women, and people in a program. MLA Sakku and local leaders present. In Adilabad district membership drive, TRS MLA Babu Rao Rathod, in Neradigonda DDC chairman L Bhuma Reddy, ZP Chairman Janardhana, former MP Nagesh and others attended the membership drive.(NSS)
