Hyderabad : TRS leader Amarender Reddy, along with his hundreds of supporters, joined the Congress party in the presence of Uttam Kumar Reddy, K. Jana Reddy and other senior leaders. Speaking on the occasion, Uttam Kumar Reddy said that the Congress party would win all 12 seats of erstwhile Nalgonda district in next polls. He said it was strange for the TRS leaders living on the banks of Nagarjuna Sagar to question what Congress party did for Telangana. He said it was the Congress party that turned Telangana into an energy-surplus State. He said all the power projects operational in Telangana were initiated during Congress regime. He said TRS was wrongly trying to take credit for Congress project just by cutting the ribbons.
Uttam Kumar Reddy said that TRS leaders have been getting nightmares of a humiliating defeat ever since Congress party has decided to form a Grand Alliance with TDP, CPI and TJS.(NSS)
