TRS MPs slam Sanjay on GST jibe

Hyderabad: TRS MPs Ranjith Reddy,  Venkatesh and others and others today slammed the BJP MP and Telangana party president Bandi Sanjay for false propaganda on GST arrears and the funds offered by the Central government to the state.

Talking to presspersons at parliament after session,  the TRS MPs took serious exception to the BJP MP for mud-slinging on the Telangana government.  It is a shameful act to make false charges by the BJP MP on the funds being cut short by the centre, they charged.  They slammed the BJP MP for alleging that the centre gave Rs 7000 cr to Telangana and the government misused the funds.

This is the totally disgusting and unwelcoming campaign on the Central funds they fumed.  The centre should protect farmers and states interests by repealing the agriculture and power bills they demanded.

Though the centre gave just Rs 290 crore so far towards the GST arrears,  Sanjay says of huge funds.  His comments are to misguide the people they said.  Despite the farmers and political parties staging serious protests, the Modi government has passed agriculture bills the TRS MPs charged.

We have opposed the power and agriculture bills in the parliament,  they said.  Despite continuing protests by some opposition parties in and outside the parliament, the centre has passed agriculture and power bills.

We will oppose in coordination with other parties, they said.  These laws are anti-people and against the states they said.  The MPs have demanded the centre to withdraw the same.  Telangana government passed a revenue bill and was welcomed by people they said.
