TRS Strength Decreasing Day After Day: DK Aruna

Hyderabad: Former minister and Congress leader DK Aruna has ridiculed TRS Chief K Chandrashekhar Rao saying that not a single issue was in KCR’s favour after abolishing the Assembly.

Speaking to the media here on Saturday, Aruna said the strength of the TRS was decreasing day after day while conducting public meetings. She said all sections of the people were opposing the TRS party. She alleged that KCR was giving an impression that he did the development in the Telangana while showing the works of Congress party. Opining that the TRS party did severe injustice to former minister Konda Surekha, Aruna alleged that TRS party has no respect towards women. She exuded confidence that the Congress party will win the coming elections.

TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka alleged that the State and Central governments were harassing the people by increasing the prices of petrol and diesel. He said the Congress party has given a call along with all Opposition parties for Bharath Bandh on September 10. He said the farmers were facing a lot of troubles due to increase of diesel prices as they have to use 60 liters per acre.

He alleged that the Telangana government was burdening Rs.10,000 crore to the people of Telangana through petrol and diesel. He alleged that the Telangana government was imposing more taxes than 22 other states. He alleged that KCR was seeking votes to increasing taxes further if he won the election once again. Stating that the prices of petrol and diesel will be decreased if petrol and diesel under GST. He assured that the prices of petrol and diesel will be decreased if Congress party comes to power. (NSS)
