TRS supports Kashmir bifurcation for growth: Nama

Hyderabad: TRS MP Nama Nageshwar Rao today supported the Centre on Kashmir issue and proposal to repeal the Article 370 and 35 (A). During a debate in Lok Sabha, Rao  has supported the decision of BJP led NDA Government to bifurcate the boiling state of Kashmir into two union territories. The parties should support the right cause of bifurcation as it will address the problem forever,  he felt. For 70 years people  were facing the problems which will now be addressed and those opposing will face ire, he said. ‘We have  to extend solidarity to address the problem forever’ he said.

The bill was passed by the Rajya Sabha on Tuesday and came for debate in the Lok Sabha and seen a heated arguments between treasury and opposition benches. While the opposition parties termed it dark day, Nageshwar Rao said that it is bright day.

Rao said that the announcement of bifurcating the Kashmir into Jammu and Kashmir with Assembly and Ladhakh as UT to be under control of the Centre. Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that statehood will be offered  on getting normalcy. This is giving happiness to the most of the people in the state and we have to welcome it.

The TRS extends complete support to the bifurcation of the Kashmir and issues will be addressed to provide freedom and security to people who should not lose their lives. He also said that Telangana is on growth path after bifurcation of AP. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is giving priority for welfare and addressed power crisis, providing irrigation waters to crops and offering crop investment to the farmers to relieve of the loans.(NSS)
