TRS will win 101 seats: CM To seek Modi’s nod for early polls

Hyderabad: Ahead of his Delhi trip for getting funds for projects and development programs and in the wake of rumours of advance elections, TRS Boss and Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao has held a brainstorming session with senior leaders, MPs, MLAs and MLCs and others at Telangana Bhavan. During the meeting KCR reiterated that the ruling party will retain power by winning 101 Assembly seats and asked the rank and file to get ready for polls. The pink party supremo also made it clear that the names of candidates for the polls will be announced in Sept last week or Oct first week. He also asked the leaders to make arrangements for Kongara Kalan meeting of Pragathi Nivedan on Sept 2. KCR is learnt to have directed the leaders to bring vehicles from other states to shift people to the prestigious meeting.

He is to meet with Minister Narendra Modi and other Union Ministers to discuss various pending issues and seek a nod for zonal system. Delhi tour of KCR adds to the rumours of elections, KCR is to seek Modi’s nod for early elections and clearing the air by getting consultations with CEC. Government advisor Rajiv Sharma said to have closeted with the CEC by then Minister KTR was present in Delhi and returned to City, it is said. Consequently, KCR called on Governor and reportedly spoke on his plans of advancing the elections by cancelling the assembly. (NSS)
