Hyderabad: Minister G Kamalakar today said the ruling party will win the upcoming Municipal polls in the State.
Speaking to media persons in Karimnagar district, Kamalakar said the Opposition parties were not in a position to contest the polls. The polls for 120 municipalities and 10 municipal corporations will be held across the State on January 22 and results to be announced on January 25. He also said giving vote to the Opposition parties will not help accelerate development. He also opined that if other parties win a few seats, there will be no development at all.
He further said the people are happy with the welfare schemes and development programs in the State. He said the TRS will win all the seats by people’s support. The State has emerged No. 1 in the welfare sector and providing the best support to farmers.
