Hyderabad: A delegation of Telangana Secretariat employees association, led by its president A Padma Chary, Pavan Kumar Goud and others today called on Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan and greeted him. They bade farewell to the outgoing Governor as the Centre appointed Tamilisai Soundararajan replacing him.
On the occasion, Padma Chary eulogized services of Narasimhan during Telangana movement and after formation of the new State. He said the Governor had conveyed to the Centre the actual issues of injustice meted out to Telangana with regard to waters and jobs leading to escalation of the statehood movement.
Chary thanked the Governor for his long stint of nine-and-a-half years and fulfilled long pending expectations of the people. “Narasimhan is a great administrator and statesman and mingled with the people of Telangana freely. Telangana society will always remember him forever”, Chary added. (NSS)
