TSRTC deploys 130 special buses for ‘Fish Prasadam’ on June 9, 10

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has deployed 130 special buses for the annual Fish Prasadam administration, which will take place on June 9 and 10 at the Nampally Exhibition Ground.

The special buses will have destination boards in Telugu, Urdu, and English and will operate from city railway stations, bus stops, and the airport at regular fares.

There will be 50 special buses from Secunderabad railway station, Kachiguda railway station, JBS, MGBS, ECIL X road, and RGI Airport to the exhibition ground, and 80 special buses from 14 other locations to the venue.

Buses from Dilsukhnagar and Afzalgunj will allow passengers to alight at Gandhi Bhavan and proceed to Public Gardens.

On the way back, these buses will be operated via Gandhi Bhavan to pick up the passengers. Similarly, regular buses from Dilsukhnagar and Afzalgunj will pass through GPO on their way to Nampally.

TSRTC officials have set up special counters to address public issues at Kachiguda railway station, Secunderabad railway station, MGBS, JBS, and Exhibition Grounds points.

Traffic restrictions

Due to the administration of the fish prasadam, traffic restrictions at Numaish grounds in Nampally have been announced from Thursday 6 p.m. to Saturday midnight.

According to traffic police, traffic from Moazzam Jahi Market to the exhibition grounds will be diverted to the GPO Abids-Nampally Station road as needed.

Similarly, traffic from MJ Bridge and Begum Bazar Chathri to Nampally will be diverted at Alaska to Darussalam, Ek Minar, and other locations as needed.

Vehicles traveling from the PCR Junction to Nampally will be diverted at the A R Petrol Pump to the BJR Statue.
