Amaravati: An unknown miscreant today attacked State Minister Perni Nani with a Sickle while pretending to bow his feet. However, the minister has narrowly escaped from the attack unhurt. The incident took place at the residence of the State Minister Perni Nani. The Supporters of the ministers caught hold of the accused and handed him over to local police.
Speaking on the occasion after the incident, the minister said that he was not hurt in the incident as the sickle hit the belt of his waist. The local CI Venkata Ramana said that they had identified the accused as Badugu Nageswara Rao, a resident of Chemmanagiri Peta village. He said that he was interrogating the accused to find out more about his whereabouts. He also said that they had found that the accused was in an inebriated condition.
The miscreant came to the residence of the minister and pretended to bow his feet to execute his criminal act.
