US Announces $10 Million Reward For Sanaullah Ghafari (IS-K leader)

In the latest update, the US State Department’s Rewards for Justice program has declared a $10 million prize for data on the whereabouts of Sanaullah Ghafari, head of the Islamic State’s Khorasan unit (IS-K) who planned the 2021 Kabul air terminal besieging that killed 183 individuals including 13 American staff.

In a proclamation on Monday, the Department said that Ghafari, otherwise called Shahab al-Muhajir, was delegated in June 2020 by the IS’ center administration to be the head of IS-K, a US-assigned Foreign Terrorist Organization.
