Uttam Kumar Reddy condemns KTR’s comments on Congress party candidate

former TPCC president and Congress party MP Uttam Kumar Reddy today condemned the comments made by state Minister KTR against the party candidate from Huzurabad Assembly segment Balmuri Venkat Rao.

He termed the comments as improper and added that the Congress party would win the upcoming by-elections irrespective of the conspiracies of rival political parties like TRS and the BJP.

He said that KTR was speaking in an irresponsible manner about their party candidate. He also said that KTR was saying that the Congress party had a hidden understanding with the BJP in the elections. Reddy made it clear that they did not have any kind of secret pact with the saffron party.

He claimed that the CM had introduced the dalitha Bandhu scheme only to win in the Huzurabad by-elections and added that the CM did not have any commitment for the implementation of the scheme in Telangana.

Alleging that the CM had taken loans in the name of the construction of the irrigation projects in the state to earn commissions, he asked the CM as to why he is not taking loans to implement the Dalita Bandhu scheme.

He demanded the state government to immediately release ₹80000 crores for the development of the Dalits of the state.
